Reid Carter
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Carter is a Managing Partner with Brookfield Asset Management and leads Brookfield’s Timberlands Investment Management Organization with a focus on the acquisition of freehold timberlands throughout North America and in Brazil.  Prior to joining Brookfield in 2003, Mr. Carter was a top-ranked paper and forest products analyst at National Bank Financial from 1999 to 2003 and also served as a business analyst for TimberWest Forest Corp. from 1992 to 1996 where he was responsible for the management of TimberWest’s crown and freehold timberlands. Mr. Carter has over 28 years of experience in the forest industry and currently serves as a director of each of Selectseed Inc., Forest Management Institute of British Columbia (Chair) and Okanagan Specialty Fruit.

Joseph Cornacchia
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Cornacchia is the Controller, Private Equity and Public Funds of Brookfield Asset Management.  Prior to joining Brookfield in 2006, Mr. Cornacchia was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the Financial Risk Management group within the firm’s Advisory practice.  From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Cornacchia was an Associate in the Audit and Assurance Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Cornacchia is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business.

Marcia A. McKeague
Vice President, Maine Woodland Operations

Ms. McKeague has been Vice President of Acadian Timber’s Maine Woodland Operations since the Fund’s initial public offering in early 2006.  Ms. McKeague is also President, Katahdin Timberlands LLC & Katahdin Forest Management LLC where she has been responsible for the overall operation of these businesses which own 300,000 acres and 800 leased properties since 2003.  Prior to her current roles, Ms. McKeague served in a similar capacity for predecessor companies, Maine Timberlands Co. and Great Northern Paper Co. from 1981 to 2003.  Ms. McKeague is a Maine Licensed Professional Forester and has over 25 years of experience in the forestry industry.  Ms. McKeague holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Forestry from Michigan State University.

Luc Ouellet
Vice President, New Brunswick Woodland Operations

Mr. Ouellet has been Vice President of Acadian Timber’s New Brunswick Woodland Operations since the Fund’s initial public offering in early 2006 and is responsible for all operating activities at the New Brunswick timberlands. Prior to his current role, Mr. Ouellet  worked for Fraser Papers as Woodlands Manager in harvest operations, silviculture, road construction and forest operations planning. Mr. Ouellet is a Registered Professional Forester in New Brunswick and Maine, and has been involved in managing timberlands in New Brunswick for over 20 years.  Mr. Ouellet is a member of the Professional Engineer Association in New Brunswick and holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.

Kevin Topolniski
Chief Forester

Mr. Topolniski has been Chief Forester of Acadian Timber's New Brunswick and Maine operations since the Fund's initial public offering in early 2006.  Prior to his current role, Kevin served in a similar capacity at Fraser Papers from 1989 to 2005.  Mr. Topolniski has more than 23 years experience in the forest industry, working in forest operations, research and development, wood supply modeling, forest management planning and environmental management systems.  Mr. Topolniski holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Forestry from the University of New Brunswick.
